when i lived in the midwest, an afternoon excursion
included country roads, rolling hills, lots of trees. in
arizona, the desert road winds down into a vast, rocky
landscape and big skies. big cottonwood trees
are at the end of this path, near the river.
western arizona, on the way to the bill williams river.

So beautiful. That stunning scenery draws us into the picture and we want to follow that pathway.
It looks like a wonderful place to visit. I don't know about living there. I was last there in 1952.
I missed the theme day somehow but I wrote in my Memories blog about the roads of my youth and how they were to travel in the winter time.
Beautiful shot and amazing view!
My kind of path. Empty.
